Using The Select Documents Plugin

Procedure

1. Start Spoon by navigating to your Kettle directory and running spoon.bat. Cancel any sign on to a Repository.
2. Click the Design tab.
3. Expand the Alterian Category and drag it to the Transform Panel. In the screen shot below, the Text file output step is used to demonstrate that standard Kettle tools can process the output.
